Regency Properties owner and Broker-in-Charge is Andrea Reeves. Andrea is an Ashe County native who entered the real estate profession in 1999, seeking a new challenge and opportunity for increased involvement within her hometown community. In March, 2001, after seeing the on-going growth potential for the area, Andrea opened Regency Properties, a dream which became a reality. $8 million in sales in the first year was quite an accomplishment in her eyes, but netting sales in excess of $30 million in 2006, just five years into the business, was simply incredible. Since then, that sales number has continued to rise and, each year, she and her agents are grateful for this growth. Even though real estate is a demanding job, she loves it, and most would say she “lives and breathes” her work.
Andrea was awarded High Country’s Top 50 in 2018 by Movement Mortgage and is striving to achieve this same honor year after year. Regardless of the real estate wish (land, residential, or commercial property), her expertise allows her to provide the appropriate information needed for buyers to make wise decisions and investments. She achieved the status of being in the top five salespeople in the High Country last year and in the top ten for 2018. Andrea’s deep knowledge of the area, as well as her creative energy and strong work ethic, have certainly helped her become one of the area’s most successful and respected brokers. She holds a special place in her heart for Ashe County and can tell potential buyers numerous reasons why they should re-locate in these beautiful Blue Ridge mountains.
On a personal note, Andrea enjoys shopping and exercising, but most of all the joy of living in her Ashe County. She has two children, Courtlyn and Cagney. Courtlyn currently serves as a school administrator in the Charlotte-Mecklenburg School System and is married to the love of his life, Sara, who is the Director of Elementary Education in Cabarrus County Schools. Courtlyn and Sarah have a daughter Hadley (“Glammy’s girl”) and a Pomeranian puppy Cooper, (her “grand-dog”). Hadley, with her contagious smile, incredible curiosity, and extroverted personality, is a true joy in Andrea’s life. Cagney is presently an event planner at Sonic Automotive, a well-known and highly successful business in Charlotte. She has traveled extensively for this company, including international locations. She is engaged to Nathan Roberts, a pharmacist at a national chain CVS. They are planning their wedding for November, 2021. The entire family enjoys spoiling “the other half”– a Maltese puppy named “Saylor Pearl.”
